Chiropractic Care In Colorado Springs, Wheat Ridge, and Alpharetta

Thrive Health Systems began as a Colorado Springs chiropractic clinic, so this is one of our most robust services.

If you have never been to a chiropractor, you may wonder what all the fuss is about. On top of that there is a lot of misinformation and fear surrounding chiropractic, whether is about "having to come for the rest of your life" or that darn "popping" noise.

So, let's set the record straight.

Chiropractic care is about maintaining the proper alignment in your body. Due to injury, sitting 91% of our days, overuse and underuse, trauma, car accidents, and more your body gets out of alignment. This is common and it can happen from birth to death.

When your body is out of alignment, it puts pressure on nerves and causes tension in muscles. Both of these dysfunctions cause pain.

Instead of masking pain with over-the-counter pills and prescribed medications, we say "go straight to the cause." If you remove the interference in the body, then it will heal itself of the pain. Plus, even over-the-counter meds like NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) are reported by the Journal of the American Medical Association to cause 16,500 deaths a year in the US, mainly due to gastro-intestinal bleeding.

Pain relief, corrective, and maintenance care

Often - but not always - patients come to see us in acute pain. The pain finally motivated them to take action and come into the crazy chiropractor's office:)

We have one patient and fan who is a nurse practitioner and wife to a radiologist, and she said, "I thought chiropractic was Loony Tunes." That was until she broke her back and pain killers couldn't even take the edge off. Dr. Kallenbach went to her home to work on her and nurse her back to pain free living. Here testimonial can be view here (just click on the photo of Dr. Kallenbach on the front page).

1. Pain Relief.  Getting you relief from pain is our first concern, because that is why you likely came to see us. This is called acute or pain relief care. This can take 1-12 visits to get a patient fully out of pain, depending on severity, cause, etc. (a herniated disc vs car accident vs chronic subluxation will all be handled differently and require varying time frames).

2. Corrective Care. However, the cause of a person's pain is often something that the patient is not aware of, and to correct the root cause can take time. We like to use the analogy of a dental cleaning vs braces. Getting patients pain relief is often the easy part. Correcting the problem takes more time and it requires the patients participation, just like braces.

3. Maintenance. Maintenance can best be thought of as a "retainer" that you wear after braces. It maintains your results. This type of care is the least expensive and the least frequent. Depending on the case, it may only be once every six months.

What's it Cost?

Chiropractic insurance

We accept insurance here. We submit both in and out-of-network insurance on your behalf. So, if you have insurance, it may just cost your copay. Call today to have your insurance benefits verified by our billing specialist. We've seen copays as low as $10 and higher than our cash rates.

Cash

If you are uninsured, we also offer pay-per-visit and discounted plans. Costs can range from $50 to much lower, depending on the case. Some patients are in need of other therapies for their back, neck or joint pain besides chiropractic or in conjunction with chiropractic. These therapies could be spinal decompression, laser therapy, massage or rehabilitative therapy. These would, of course, be charge separately.

Zero-percent Financing

We work with CareCredit, Medical Financing, and we perform in-house financing at 0% interest for up to 12 months.

That "Popping" noise

The beauty of modern science is that you can be aligned without ever hearing the popping noise or being contorted by the doctor. We have an instrument called the Arthrostim which can move your joints without popping or twisting. Some of our patients prefer this method. If that is you, then tell the doc.

Do I have to come for the rest of my life?

We love to hear this question, because we love to be the ones to set people free and tell them, "you don't have to do anything you don't want to do." Isn't that refreshing. You don't have to brush your teeth, bath or eat salads either. You are free and we would never tell you what you have to do.

The question is, What do you WANT? If you'd like to be pain-free and have your nervous system - which controls every single thing in your body - functioning appropriately, then you may want to re-align your body throughout your life...or not:)

If you are interested in Colorado Springs Chiropractic care, please call us at 719.475.8676. Still skeptical? Just ask for a free 15-minute consultation. Meet the doc, meet the staff, see the office, tell us your problem, and see if we are a good fit for you.
